Ubisoft, einer der weltweit größten Publisher und Hersteller für Computer- und Videospiele, verkündete heute die Entwicklung des vierten Teils der Rayman® - Serie. Ubisofts Aushängeschild hat Spielergenerationen seit 10 Jahren unterhalten und weltweit wurden bis heute über 16 Millionen Einheiten verkauft. Das neue Rayman-Videospiel entsteht in Ubisofts Entwicklerstudio in Montpellier unter Federführung von Michel Ancel, dem Erfinder des ersten Rayman-Spieles und von der Fachpresse hochgelobten Beyond Good & Evil™ sowie Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie. Das neue Rayman–Spiel wird zur Weihnachtszeit 2006 für die aktuellen und nächsten Konsolengenerationen erscheinen.
„Rayman ist eine der Marken, die die Fähigkeiten Ubisofts unterstreichen, Charaktere und Welten zu erschaffen, die alle Arten von Spielern ansprechen,” sagte Yves Guillemot, Geschäftsführer bei Ubisoft. „Wir erwarten, dass dieses neue Rayman-Videospiel die Spieler von den Füßen haut”.

Ubisoft, un des plus grands éditeurs de jeux vidéo au monde, annonce aujourd’hui qu’il est en train de développer le quatrième épisode de Rayman®. Rayman enchante des générations de joueurs depuis 10 ans et ses différents épisodes se sont vendus à plus de 16 millions d’exemplaires dans le monde. Le nouveau jeu Rayman est développé par le studio d’Ubisoft à Montpellier, sous la direction de Michel Ancel, créateur du jeu Rayman original, de Beyond Good & EvilTM et de Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie. Le nouveau Rayman sortira fin 2006 sur consoles actuelles et next-gen.

Ubisoft’s iconic brand has entertained generations of gamers for 10 years and to date has sold more than 16 million units worldwide. The new Rayman video game is being developed by Ubisoft’s Montpellier studio, led by Michel Ancel, creator of the original Rayman game, the critically-acclaimed Beyond Good & Evil™ and Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie. The new Rayman video game will launch during Holiday 2006 on current and next-generation consoles.
